The apartment is spacious, modern and tastefully decorated.It is in a supurb location, being a 15 minute walk into Fort William and the station, and a 20 minute walk along the river to Gben Nevis. We especially appreciated the comforts of the apartment, as we had heavy rain on our first day. We travelled from Inverness by bus, and it was convenient to be able to get off a few yards from the apartment.We never met the owner, Joannne, but she was extremely helpful in all our correspondence.She offered us a discount as we had stayed at the property the previous year, and she offered to forward some medication we accidentally left.We hope to be back again, as our son would also like to visit Ben Nevis

This is the second time we have stayed here and would highly recommend. Apartments are spotlessly clean and tidy with everything provided for a very comfortable stay. The location is ideal, a short walk from the town centre. Although the host is not on site, Joanne is easily contactable and makes you feel very welcome.We will be back again next year.

The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the basics you need (coffee, shampoo, linen, towels, etc...).Kitchen and the shower were huge.Short walk into the town center.Communication with the host about the apartment was excellent.

Our weekend stay at Glenlochy Apartments, as part of our long walk from John o Groats to Lands End, was perfect. We had everything we needed to relax and get ourselves ready for the challenges ahead. Joanne went out of her way to help us with a pair of boots that needed to be delivered by post! A real pleasure to stay here.

central accommodation perfect base for outdoor activities, reasonable kitchen and facilities for a couple people. close to amenities in town or retail park. was dry during our stay so may benefit from a tumble drier in wet weather.

The apartments are conveniently situated for Fort William, awalkable distance away along a busy road but we found a back route crossing the river and the railway where we had a good view of the returning Jacobite train. The studio apartment we stayed in was clean and pleasantly furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We stayed for one night with our two Labrador dogs, the apartment was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Conveniently located for shops and short walks with the dogs. Very clean and warmed up well on what was a cold night outside. Joanne was very helpful and friendly to deal with. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for those wanting easy access to the mountains, Nevis Range and trails. It's a short walk to the town centre in the other direction and only 5 mins from the train station. The apartment is spacious with all amentities provided (with local shops nearby). Joanne was an excellent host and very hospitable - thank you and we'll be back again!

Stayed for 4 nights with 10 year old daughter. The apartment is so well equipped,washing machine, heated clothes drier, hairdryer, fridge, microwave and loads of kitchen utensils including tea towel, washing up liquid and laundry tablets. The apartment was spotless and spacious. Unfortunately it rained for most of the time we were there and I wouldn't normally do any washing while away but I took advantage of having a washing machine and clothes drier to clean our wet clothes. There was a TV (sorry unsure of how many channels) and free wi-fi. On our third day we received a text asking if we needed more towels and toilet roll, a lovely touch as some places only supply 1 toilet roll and you buy the rest. Even though the weather was awful it was nice knowing you we're returning to a warm comfortable apartment we would definitely stay here again.

I visited Fort William with my partner for a long weekend exploring the area. The apartment is located approximately a ten minute walk from the town centre and close to several shops to be able to stock up with supplies. It is half a mile from the Braveheart car park which is the starting point for several walks and just over a mile from the Ben Nevis Visitor Centre so ideally located for both walks and the town.It has been furnished very tastefully and has everything we required to make our stay there comfortable and enjoyable and is set in quite a quiet location. There's several bus stops very close by should you wish to venture further afield which we used to visit Loch Ness, (the main bus station is less than a mile away). The train station is also under a mile away which we used to go on the Jacobite Steam Train trip.The host, Joanne, kept in regular contact prior to our visit with all the necessary information and on the day of our arrival messaged, via text and email, to ensure we could get to the apartment OK.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, the host seems great and as we were so busy we didn't get around to climbing Ben Nevis, we plan on returning and staying here again.

After few days on the road it was good to touch base in a clean and welcoming place. The idea of having a folder, with all one needs to know, from restaurants to take aways, from Covid approach to find ins and outs of the place, is a great idea. Good location just 19 minutes walk from the train station and 30 from the city centre.I would recommend it, if you are thinking of going to Fort William. Maria Teresa- Antonino's girlfriend

I stayed at Glenlochy apts for 3 nights, with my two grown up Daughters. We wanted somewhere near to every trail we wanted to hike in Fort William. We wanted self catering this time, (last time we stayed in a hotel)The apartment was freshly renovated and we liked the look, upon arrival, we entered into a beautifully clean, smart appointed apartment with two single beds and one day bed.2A.. We unloaded all our groceries in the very luxurious kitchen. We liked the grey style with the olive splash backs 🤩the bathroom was a large shower with vanity unit, everything spotless! The day bed is especially comfortable and had extra pillows!! A bonus for me! The apartment is located in beautiful gardens with steps down to a shallow river, with nature trees and the view of a mountain. It’s gorgeous. We were within 10 minutes drive of Steall Falls and we had a glorious sunny day hiking. Upon arrival back to our apartment, we discovered plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets just a short drive away~ 3 min.We also noticed that, I forgot a bag with some utensils but the kitchen was so well equipped, we didn’t need to buy again. My eldest daughter didn’t feel like hiking the 3rd day, she stayed at the apartment, watching YouTube videos and Netflix on the tv. Everything is thought of and the little touches are wonderful. We would definitely book this exact apartment again. My dog was also welcomed. I received a message from the owner to say we left a tip in the washing machine and they will post on…how lovely. We had the joy of a wee stay at Glenlochy with our four year old and our dog. We all loved it, was the perfect size for us, had tea and coffee available, free WiFi and looked totally brand new. Beds were comfy, checking in was easy and we got to check in early. Utterly lovely stay and hope to stay again.

Recently refurbished apartment, well positioned for the town centre. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and washing. We used this as a base to go to Skye and Inverness. Good communication from the host offering more towels etc if we required them.I can recommend this appartment to any couple wishing to visit Fort William and the surrounding area

We booked Glenlochy as a middle stopping point for our travel back home. It's dog friendly and close to the shops which made it an easy decision to book. We stayed in apt1A and it is a lovely place to relax,and still have that homely feeling. Joanne kept in contact and was super helpful with all the information prior to our arrival, providing a cot and high chair for our little boy. You do have to go up the stairs to get to the apartment though, which wasn't an issue for us, as our toddler is confident with stairs but could be for others with younger children.In regards to the apartment itself, everything is clean and tidy. The kitchen space is amazing - particularly loved using the oven and cooker! Our little boy loved being able to play with his cars from the end of the front room all the way to the cooker, and back. The shower was good too with all the soap and shampoo available. The beds are so comfortable, our little boy slept through the night! Our springer spaniel particularly loved sleeping next to the balcony door, watching the world go by.When we booked it, we didn't realise it came with a washing machine and tumble drier so that was a huge bonus being able to get all our clothes cleaned at the end of our holiday!Would definitely recommend staying here, and would come again when we are next in Scotland.

This is a splendid apartment which looked newly refurbished with all the amenities you needed. Fully equipped kitchen with washer/drier. Clean throughout, immaculate shower room and comfortable sleeping arrangement. A convenient short 15 minute walk from the town centre. Definitely recommend this for a couple or small family.

Thank you very much for an excellent stay. The flat was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. It is a short walk from the centre of town and despite being on the main road which is so handy we heard no traffic noise during the night and both my husband and I are light sleepers. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again anytime I’m in Fort William.

Perfect accommodation for a couple, with good kitchen and bathroom facilities.Location was excellent and an easy walk into town & to Morrison’s, or Aldi&M&S the other way! Good coffee & cake at the Highland Soap company too! Cycling distance upto Nevis Range MTB trails was a good bonus.

Just as you walk down into fortwilliam, this complex is a quick right turn, and 50m you are there. Which in my view was a masterstroke.

The apartment was everything we needed, obviously maintained to a very high standard, would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, comfy getaway that’s only 5 mins away from the town centre.

Great short stay here for two of us and our dog. We used it to break up the journey to Skye and provided a suitable place to spend the night.Good location just off the main road and short walk into town. Apartment had everything we needed and would suit for longer stays.Friendly and helpful service from Joanne and great communication about checkin/out procedures during these times.We'd definitely use again.

This is honestly a little Gem on the foot of town and the Glen.Car parking , excellent WiFi ,Very comfortable beds and bedding is very clean and cosy. Washing up liquid,soap powder handwash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner kitchen roll and toilet paper. My wife and myself have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Glenlochy Apartments, we stayed in the one bedroom family apartment and we would not hesitate on a return stay or to recommend to anyone looking for qualityaccommodation at a very reasonable price.The apartment is very generous in size modern, clean and fresh, it has everything needed within and also in a great location a short walk to the town centre.Extremely comfortable sofas and beds to relax in after a busy day.I’m a bit embarrassed to say that we had never been to Fort William before but Eric and Joanne had provided us with a few recommendations regards activities and places to visit which were a great help to us and made the trip for us.

Upon arrival, there was ample parking and very clear and easy instructions to get the key. The accommodation itself is spotless and has all the amenities needed. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Joanne was informative and helpful from the start.

We booked this apartment as a 1 night stopover before tackling the 3 peaks challenge. It is really well equipped, plenty of space and importantly, very comfy beds! Would very much recommend for a small group wanting some space and great kitchen facilities.

Great location for shops, restaurant and bars on the main tourist street and a short distance from the mountain gondola. Available parking outside. We (family with 2 teenage girls, on a Scotand-roadtrip) had a nice stay (3 days) in Glenlochy Apartments. Looks neat, recently renovated. Glenlochy is a great base for the trip with the Jacobite train, mountain walks (which we ourselves have not done) and visits to all the beautiful things on the Isle of Skye (be on the road early then). If you travel as a family with teenagers, the bedroom is a bit on the tight side, we think. Nothing but good about this accommodation. Nice that you can park on site. Highly recommended The Glenlochy Apartmentsin Fort William.The location is close to the town centre(13 mins) walk,and a stone through away from the shops(Morrisons,M&S,Home Bargains & lidls.Also theres plenty places to eat out.Glenlochy Apartments I can't fault,flat was clean on our arrival,spacious,very comfortable & Warm,Basically Home from Home!!... We really enjoyed our trip to Fort William. The Glenlochy apartments were a great place to stay. Well located, contemporary, clean and fully equipped. We found it so much better than a hotel room to have as a base in between walks and activities.

After a day walking in the hills (me) or the West Highland Way (my partner) it was lovely to come back to our apartment, It was well-furnished and comfortable, and just a short walk from 'downtown'. I'd be very happy to stay again.

Very modern & clean& comfortable

We had 2 studio apartments. They were absolutely spotless with plenty of room. The bed was so comfy. Will defo be back to stay again.

Loved the studio, would stay there again. One minor suggestion is to put in cup coasters - we used the large ones to protect the bedside cabinets but smaller ones would have been easier.

The apartment is very cosy. It is warm even if the outside temperature is freezing.It has everything we need to cook up a simple dinner.The only issue is we need to carry our luggage over a 10m Long pebbles ground between the car park and the 1A entrance, and of course up 1 storey.

Clean andwell appointed. Great WIFI

We stayed in Apt 1A for 2 nights - the night before we walked 100 miles along the West Highland Way for charity, and the 2nd night was the night we finished our walk. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay with our two teenage children and 2 small dogs. It's comfy, clean, cosy and on the 2nd night felt like home.Joanne is so kind (she donated to our charity) and she's very helpful and a great communicator. We loved it!

I stayed with my husband and two babies after our ferry was cancelled.The communication was excellent and we got into our accommodation early - with two tired babies with was much needed.The owner was extremely helpful and when our ferry was cancelled for the second day we were kindly allowed to stay later than the official check out time.Nothing was too much trouble.The owner was excellent pleasant, friendly and helpful.The accommodation was ideal and I would highly recommend.Excellent location and a lovely, comfortable apartment.A big thank you to Joanne and Linda for you help and understanding

Beautiful little apartment which had a fully equipped kitchen. located in a quiet place with very ease access to Ben Nevis. Clean and tidy. The only downside is the bathroom sink is very small.

We had great experience with the host who was very kind and very responsive. The rooms were clean and spacious. Only downside is we could not use the parking however there are plenty of spaces available at the neighboring street.

Lovely spacious apartment. Had everything we needed. Large fully equipped kitchen, dining table, 2x sofas, and washing machine. Had to still take 3 loads to laundromat to use the dryers but it still saved us some money and time being able to wash them in the apartment. Was a little confusing about whether we were or weren’t allowed to use the car park so we parked in the side street most of our stay.

Right from the start when i booked the wrong date by mistake, the owners were quick to help sort it all out. The accomodation was warm and welcoming for myself and our 2 young kids, and we were sad to be onky staying the 1 night.I highly reccomend Glenlochy Apartments both for the quality of accomodation and the friendly owners.

Needed a place to lay our heads that aloud our toddler and dogs. Glenlochy fitted our needs perfectly. Warm, clean with a lovely wee bathroom and kitchen. Very easy to find, Joanne and her cleaner were both lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend.

This was a great place so clean everything you need for a comfortable stay,walking distance of main town centre and for heading out further afield if thats your intention. Beds were comfy,a little home from home. No problem access or booking for apartments. A fantastic find and will definitely be back and for longer next time. Thehouse we stayed in was great for the 7 of us.good location and easy to get around.having a washing machine and dryer was wonderful and the kitchen table area a good size for our mob .kids enjoyed the place as well.comfortable beds .only thing missing that we are used to was little packets of coffee tea and some soap in the bathrooms .asking to strip the beds was something I’m not used to anywhere else .

Spent one night here in transit from the mainland to Skye.We had 2 dogs with us so had personal contact with the owner to answer any questions.Everything went smoothly and the apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable with access to grass in the grounds for the dogs.Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Very well! Everything that is needed was there and it was clean. We also had a big and bright kitchen. But it was sad that we could not use the bathtup with warm water, but to shower was possible.

The apartment was clean and tidy. Kitchen utensils and stove were very good.However, it was very nouisy outside due to the heavy traffic. In the bedroom, since there was a big gap between the window and the frame, the noise still woke me up continuously all the night!Besides, the water pressure of the shower was too low that we could not take a regular shower, not to mention an enjoyable one.

Hello and thank you for your review.Fort William is very busy this time of year and they are in the process of widening the road to allow the traffic to move more freely.Unfortunately for you, you had opened your window but had not managed to close it properly allowing for the noise to penetrate the open gap.The window works fine.The showers, I understand the pressure is sometimes not great.This is a local problem with the water pressure which sometimes makes the water cycle from hot to cold.We are rectifying the temperature problem by installing new thermostatic showers tomorrow, Wednesday 20th June and we will see if there is any way in which we can overcome the issue of the water pressure.Thanks again and I hope you enjoyed your visit to Scotland.Joanne

Glenlochy Apartments are nice and clean and well appointed. Only a 5 minute walk from the city centre. It was ideal for our requirements. Only issue was the shower which kept changing from Cold to extremely hot so couldn't use it.

Stayed one night at the end of doing the west highland way. Accommodation was centrally locatet, good, clean and very well equipped.

The Glenlochy apartment we stayed in was like a nice hotel room with the bonus of its own kitchen.Was in a good location with an easy walk to the centre of town. Would definitely stay again.

Not only was the apartment its self in great condition, very spacious, and clean, but the location was perfect as well. As a group of 4 we were able to leave our car parked in the car park and walk out into town and enjoy the shops and bars and restaurants and walk back and enjoy the warmth of the apartment while playing cards at the beautiful kitchen table. The hospitality is fantastic, the hostesses are always easily available and very nice. We actually canceled our reservations last minute at our next stop to stay here a second night. Would do it again!

I stayed in 1A Glenlochy Apartments for 3 nights with my mother and 9 year old daughter so we could attend my son's graduation.We found the apartment to be clean, spacious well equipped, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The location is also very good and we had a balcony with views to the mountains in Glen Nevis and good views to the front as well.There is ample car parking and it is well sign posted making it easy to reach.I would have no hesitation to book there again.

We stayed here just two nights for our hike up Ben Nevis with 5 adult children.Great spot, nice access to restaurants, stores and town.Quiet outside town area.On a busy street with a busy roundabout in close proximity so might not be ideal for young kids. Joanne was very helpful and communicated with us almost every day before our arrival.Key retrieval was easy.

Apartment was ideally located between Ben Nevis and Fort William meaning after arriving on the sleeper train we didn't have to hire a car! The apartment was clean and well aquipped with friendly helpful communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend for couples or small family's - only slight downside was the bed could of been bit comfier, after you spent 7hrs on a mountain your legs (and everything else) need it - but didn't really bother us as everything else was spot on x

We've really enjoyed our stay at Glenlochy Apartments. The studio was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The location was good and near the train station. We managed to buy the ticket for the Jacobite Steam Train as we hadn't booked it on line. Joanne was really nice and let us leave the car in the car park while we were away for the day even if we had booked only for one night.

Great self catering Apartments wich has all you need for a stay in the Highlands.Just a short walk from the centre of Fort William and easily accessible to Ben Nevis. We stayed in studio apartment 2A and it was beautiful. The room was spacious, clean and very pretty. There was also a spacious kitchen with literally everything that you could possibly need. The location is perfect with it being just a short walk into town. Additionally, on our journey back home Joanne had called us to inform us that we had forgotten camera accessories in the apartment and asked if she would like us to send them back. Would 100% reccoment these apartments to anyone and will be booking in the near future. Thank you again Joanne!!

Good location and apartment clean and comfortable. Numbers on key box to gain access were akward to read and lighting was poor since we arrived in the evening. No cutlery found in apartment so we bought some picnic cutlery to use.

We stayed here for one night on our way from Edinburgh to Skye- the accommodation was lovely, rooms were well sized, and the kitchenette was great to have (and really well equipped!) Joanne was very helpful and communicative in the lead up to our stay, so arriving and departing was a breeze. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area- we'll definitely be staying longer next time!

Nice apartment, lots of parking, easy access to town centre or railway station - we were there for steam train trip. Mattress on double bed slumps into the middle (apt due for renovation in weeks after we stayed so may no longer apply). Spotless. Good quality towels and bedding.

We enjoyed our stay but did think the apartment was a bit tired.l was disappointed to find that we couldn't use the bath and would of preferred a larger bed. It was also annoying to have to remove the mirror from the wall and kneel to dry my hair. However the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge very comfortable.

The apartments were dog-friendly and available at a very reasonable price. Expectations were not high, but were greatly exceeded. Location was easy to find (even in the dark) and convenient use of keysafe meant room was available again at late time. The studio twin bedded room I was in was very comfortable, warm, spacious, clean and the main door entrance was ideal for having dog. The kitchen had everything I needed and more, like a home from home. Location was great for walks and although on main road, traffic noise was not an issue. Only issue was the bathroom, as it was a little tired. I would definitely recommend to friends and would happily stay again (hopefully in the near future.)

Had a pleasant stay here over the weekend, three adults in one of the smaller studio apartments. The location to Fort William is great and the non staffed check in meant there was no pressure to arrive at a certain time. We did struggle a little bit with the shower but other than that there were no issues. I would stay again

This apartment was just we needed at the end of a busy hiking trip in Scotland, most of which was spent in a tent. A good size and very well kitted out, we would definitely stay here again.

Booked the Glenlochy Apartments for an overnight stay in September to spend the weekend at the Nevis Range. We ahd a one bedroom apartment (1A) & it was spotless. Ideal for our trip. Wifi worked great. Apartment was only a short walk to the centre. Would definitely recommend & would bokk again the next time I was staying in Fort William.

The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed.The beds were firm and we spelt well.Our teenage daughter used the sofa bed and she loved it!The kitchen had plenty of equipment and up to date appliances and was easy to keep clean.The bathroom was clean and warm and the shower worked well.

Nice comfortable apartment with excellent kitchen. The only problem I faced was noise since the apartment (3A) was street facing. Very close to Ben Nevis and Town Centre. Great place to stay whether you travel by car or public transport.

Myself and a friend stayed here as we were climbing Ben Nevis.The apartments are in a great location, very clean and comfortable.The kitchen had all we needed for our stay.The only downfall was a shower which wasnt very powerful but nice and warm after our hike up Nevis.The haidryer and clothes drier provided proved very useful. The heater in the room was great too.Pity the weather was so bad because it wouldve been lovely to sit outside at the picnic benches.Would recommend these apartments.Thank you x

I stayed in apartment 1A with 2 friends as we were climbing Ben Nevis for charity.We booked the apartment due to the location and to give us a bit of extra room so we were not stuck in a hotel room for 2 nights.We definitely made the right decision booking this, the photos don't do this apartment justice, it was much bigger than we though it would be. We have already been talking about returning for another weekend.

These apartments were clean and comfortable. Only stayed 1 night as we were a team that were doing the Caledonian challenge so to have 3 kitchen areas to prepare out food for next day was great. we had apartments 1A 2A & 3A. 3A is the biggest of these having a bedroom and separate living area along with balcony. the other two apartments are one room but have kitchen and shower, all in all good value for money,and would stay there again in the future only thing I would suggest is a fridge with maybe a small freezer box.

A really great place to stay, close to the town centre and everything we needed was there. We were in room 2a and the toilet from upstairs was very loud in the night. The dripping sounded like a ball being hit against the wall and the flush was loud too but that is the only negative. Wiuld stay again if these issues are sorted.

I love this place. Location was perfect not too far from city center and very close to the end of The West Highland Way and close to the river. We felt so comfortable there. We could make a breakfast in the kitchen, watching TV in the evening and spend lovely time together at the big table. Everything was perfect. I strongly recommend this place. Thank you

Beautifully furnished spacious well-equipped apartment with attractive outside area near the river,however, we could not find any info about wifi or password. So instead of spending the day enjoying fort william and loch linnhe we spent half of it accessing wifi in a pub in town making necessary arrangements for onward travel etc. There is no reception on site.

We loved the apartment, great for a family with 2 children. Spacious, bright and clean.The only thing that would have made it perfect is a black out blind in the bedroom because it was light until late and again from 5am so we were all.awake.very early!

We stayed here as we were attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge. It was perfect for our needs. We were able to get up for our early start of 3am and then our driver went back to bed for a few more hour sleep before picking us up.

We booked the double studio apartment for one night on our way to the Isle of Skye. Nice, modern and warm apartment, rather clean, check-in very convenient.It could be good to replace the kettle and the leave the instructions for the cooker.Recommanded

Very easy check in with no need to go to reception to pick up a key. Rooms well appointed, very clean and easily large enough for most couples/small families. Access to fort william is either a 20 min easy walk or £5 in a taxi. For the price, very happy.

I very rarely write reviews. although regularly stay at hotels throughout Europe and felt that I should share my experience with a fair assessment of our short overnight stay.Firstly, Fort William is not cheap so comparing prices to other apartment is other cities would be unfair and at £79.00 for an overnight stay for myself, my wife and our young son this was by Fort William standards a cheap overnight stay.On the plus side, the location is within walking distance to downtown Fort William and the size of the apartment was large, with a good size lounge, kitchen and bedroom so you get much more space than a cheap hotel room and for a family that is great. Onsite parking is also free and unlike some cheap hotels, the bed and mattress while a little soft was generally comfortable.Some downside's were the apartment did smell of damp which was unplesant and the apartment in general does require significant refurbishment. The heating was not very effective and while we cooked for dinner and breakfast, the overhead stove ventilation system did not handle the smoke which kept triggering the smoke alarm, so we had to open the windows and balcony door to vent the apartment, which on a cold night was uncomfortable.Overall it is fair to say you get what you pay for, so if you want space and location at a low cost, this will suite you well.If you are looking for something a little more modern, you will need to pay for it and consider looking elsewhere.

Thank you for your review and I agree it is a fair assessment, The Apartment you stayed in has now been closed off for maintainance and refurbishment as the damp smell you were refering to was actually a leak behind the bathroom and unfortunaly i was unaware of this until this week as I dont get in to the apartments as often as needed due to other business comittments and the fact we have a cleaning company that does our daily change overs, However this apartment will have a new bathroom suite, new carpets and new furniture ready for the 2016 season.Many thanksStuart

Beautiful apartment minutes from fort William centre and an ideal base for exploring Ben Nevis and the beautiful scenery surrounding it. Cannot recommend enough.

Apartment was spacious, clean and location was great. Our family of 4 was very comfortable there. We could never connect to wifi, which was very inconvenient.

Close to Fort William and facilitated with kitchenware which is good for those who want to prepare food by themselves. Wifi is available but not reliable. Room condition is fine, the sofa bed for the third person is at fair condition.

Check-in procedures straight forward. Off street parking convenient for carry-in. Apartments clean and tidy with a well supplied kitchen. Wi-Fi was a bit feeble which was the only minus. Ideal for groups who wish to stay and share location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay (in apt 3A, which is on the ground floor and very easy to find). The reception free check in (and out) was greatly appreciated after a 7.5hr journey to get there! Everything was satisfactory. I especially liked the fact there were already necessities on hand which are easily forgotten when self catering, like cooking oil, salt, pepper etc (even tomato ketchup!) The bed was comfortable and the apartment was cosy and warm. A very good size too. Great location. My only qualm was the feather duvet and no alternative one as I am allergic to feather's, but, we just purchased our own duvet from Morrison's. I am in no doubt that had we queried it, a suitable replacement would have been supplied but we thought it was too minor of a detail to bother them with (though I suggest maybe something for them to think about for future guests with similar allergy issues or a note in the room to let other guests know an alternative is available, or not!?).We will definitely stay again and would highly recommend to friends and family.

It was a joyful stay! The apartment is fully equipped and located in the town center. We can easily cooking and having a comfortable stay. It's clean and tidy as well. Highly recommended for everyone who are going to stay in fort william!

Overall, we were satisfied with our choice.However, disappointed at the number of light globes not working, the small duvet (for a 6 foot person), and the slow and erratic internet (having to stay up late to use it was annoying).And it would be helpful to have better washing facilities there or nearby (good thing we had a car).But having said all that, we would stay there again.

We have stayed in many places in Fort William, studio 3A was nicer than most other places.Very clean, freshly decorated, carpets like new.Very relaxing, everything we needed.Remember to take your own hairdryer and toiletries.Curtains and bigger towels the only thing I could suggest.Lovely cleanfresh bedding, lovely daybed for our son.Nice big TV, great having kitchen especially fridge.Dont count on the wifi, we couldnt connect, but it didnt spoil our stay.Would go back.

I was staying in Fort William for the Lochaber Marathon so the Glenlochy Apartments were exactly what I was looking for. A lovely clean and spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen enabled me to cook my own meals and get a good night sleep before the race.

Very nice place and the owners are very nice people who will go out of there way to help you I would recommend glenlohcry apartments to anyone and I would stay again.

Our Glenlochy apartment was excellent just what was called for.We were looking for someplace to stay overnight before exploring the West Highlands, some place that could accommodate a couple and their dog. We stayed in Apartment 1A and it was clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. We loved our stay and would visit again.

Spotlessly clean, recently refurbished throughout. Lovely owners. Well situated for the Ben Nevis Ski centre.

Stayed here for a snowboarding weekend, perfectly located between Nevis range and Fort William town centre. Apartment 3A, value for money, well equipped, clean, modern and comfortable. Would certainly recommend it and stay here again.Only things for improvement would be; the pitiful shower (especially after a full day of outdoor activity) and the annoyingly infrequent Wi-Fi network (constantly having to reset router for ourselves and room next door).

We stayed at Glenlochy hoping to do some skiing at Nevis Range. The apartment is roomy, warm and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen nice living area. The only thing I would change would be to have a bunk bed instead of the single bed as my daughter complained the folding bed to be very uncomfortable!Would recommend and would use again.

Stayedin flat 1A for 4 days from Wednesday 12th February 2014. Accommodation very good especially the open plan kitchen sitting area. Good size bedroom. Good location easy walking distance from the town. Would certainly use this accommodation again.

Central and functional apartments for a fabulous stay and tour of Scotland in Autumn.Some cobwebs in bathroom, broken bulbs in bedside lamp (we replaced) and cooker hood light. Would stay again.

The apartment is very provided and located in an evocative landscape. Ceck-in and ceck-out fast and by yourself without any problem. Car park in front of the apartment. Well recommended

After finishing the WHW there is no better place to stay in Fort William. Spacious, comfortable, with all you'd ever need. A great kitchen, balcony. Fantastic value for money i would recommend this place to anyone.

Very generous sized apartment, with ample parking space, and excellent location. It was very comfortable overall, although some of the furnishings were a little tired, though we recognise that the apartments offer very good value. Thank you.

Ideal for walking and getting into Fort William for shops and restaurants. Spacious and clean. Just little things - lot of lightbulbs not working, Old cement bags and broken stuff on the balcony, broken toilet seat- always a worry they will think you did it. MInor niggles really I suppose.

A clean, spacious, self-catering apartment with a nice kitchen. Just what we needed to recover in for a couple of days after completing the west highland way.

Second year we have used these apartments with two teenage sons - perfect location for walking into town.The apt has everything you need for a hectic weekend including a washinhg machine and fully equpped kitchen,comfy sofas and nice bedrooms.Will be back again !

Glen Lochy apartments were clean and well furnished, if a little dated in reards to the bedroom decor. The location was brilliant and the rates fantastic. Would definitely recommend to any/everyone!!

These are good honest apartments. A group of three of us were in fort william for the hills and our apartment was just what we needed, warm, close to town, spacious, comfortable and a good price

Finally arrived with very sore feet.upstairs apartment, no key in safe, had to ring up to find apartment had been changed to ground floor. had received an email to confirm this but had no internet as left smart phone at home due to battery issues that would have arose. Anyway all was forgiven when we got in as apartment was great, very spacious, reallynice bed, a double room each, great kitchen with everything needed, nice lounge, overall a brilliant place to stay at the end of a long walk, very cheap for what you get

Our Glenlochy apartment was very comfortable and well-equipped. The keysafe made getting in easy. Plenty of towels, great shower, heated towel rail, heating if needed in rooms. Only slight criticism, no hooks behind main door to hang coats.

We stayed at the same apartments last year, however, as we took the children last year we had the larger upstairs appartment. This year the room was disappointing in comparison. It was very compact. Perhaps if we hadn't stayed last year and raised our expectations for this year, we wouldn't have felt so short changed.Also the wifi is a much weaker signal downstairs, last year we had no trouble, this year we were forever trying to get a good signal.The room was clean and did the job, but definitely nothing special.

Hi Caroline,Sorry you were disapointed this year but in our defence it was the smaller "studio apartment" that was booked which we still feel is good value for the price as they are more our budget style apartments which we feel is reflected fairly in the price diference between this and the larger family apartment you had last year. The appartments are perfect for a weekend away in Fort William. This is the second time we have used the same flat, 1A. It is very comfortable, nicely furnished with a very nice kitchen/ living room. It is not particularly fancy but clean and well looked after. I would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic well priced apartment, clean and well situated as a base for exploring Fort Wiliiam and beyond. Will definately be back.

Glenlochy Apartments was a great place to stay for exploring Fort William: conveniently located, spacious, pleasant and clean.Although it is by the main road the flats themselves are quiet. The facilities in the flat are good, although the kitchen could have done with a bit more in the way of utensils and bakeware. There was no sieve or colander which is a bit difficult in a self catering apartment where you are very likely to be cooking pasta, potatoes or rice! Some tongs etc would also have been good. But the kitchen was spacious and well laid out.There noted from the website that there was no travel cot listed as standard, but we phoned up the owners before we booked and they arranged one and had it waiting for us when we arrived, which was great.One thing I would say would be a good addition would be somewhere to stash bikes in the garden, maybe a wee shed, or covered bike stand? We can't be the only self-caterers bringing bikes to Fort William! The owners kindly allowed us to take the bikes in the apartment, but it would have been good to have somewhere else to put them. It was dry, so it wasn't a problem, but if it had been rainy I would have been worried about tracking mud inside.But all in all a very good place to stay, I recommend it.

Apartments are spacious and a great and quiet bolt hole after a day climbing and or walking.Evrything just as it should be and excellent value for money. Excellent location.We have just booked our third stay for this year.

A great location for walking Ben Nevis and using the bars/restaurnats of Fort William: Great accommodation, we had a very comfortable stay. Both bedrooms very cleanand the kitchen is well equipped! We would certainly stay again and reccomended the accommodation to friends/ family.

Glenlochy Guest House was a good base for the beginning of our tour of the Highlands.There were plenty of places within easy reach for days out.The studio flat was comfortable and equipped well enough for our needs. Bed linen was a bit worn looking but everything was clean and kitchen had toaster and microwave.Have no problem recommending it.

We stayed here rather than a B and B. It was comfortable and had an excellent restaurant (Browns) over the road.

My husband, two dogs and I have just had an absolutely brilliant one week stay at Glenlochy Apartments. Location is perfect - 5-minute walk to town (from where you can get frequent buses to Nevis Range and other places of interest) and 15 minutes away from the start of wonderful forest walks, Glen Nevis visitor centre and the footpath to Ben Nevis.We were in Apartment No. 2 - lovely bright, clean, spacious apartment; very comfortable, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen, great shower, and comfortable bed.Despite being near the main road, inside the apartment is quiet and peaceful with large double-glazed windows allowing great views over the ever-changing scenery of the hills.Extensive garden ground, some of which leads down to the river, is beautifully maintained.We look forward to returning and have no hesitation in recommending Glenlochy Apartments to anyone wishing to visit Fort William. We have just returned from these fabulous apartments. 1A was stunning - a real home from home, having a dishwasher and range cooker. It's the highest quality throughout plus ideally situated 5-10 mins walk from town centre and 11/2 miles from Ben Nevis. Would recommend to anyone and will always stay in this apartment. Thanks for a fantastic break.

The ideal base for a group of chaps preparing to begin the Three Peaks Challenge. Clean, comfortable,well-equipped, easy to find, close to the town centre. The free wi-fi was an unexpected bonus too.

My daughter located this accomodation on line because we wanted to stay in fort william to ride the 'Jacobite steam train' and this was great accomodation. we had only booked 1 night on line but when we phoned the owner to ask for additional nights he was most accomodating and we arranged for 2 more nights. although we had to change rooms each time, the owner moved our luggage for us which was so very kind and we enjoyed each room in which we stayed. actually this was our favorite accomodation during our 2 week journey to scotland! two of the rooms also offered a washing machine as well as full kitchen facilities, sitting room, eating area and bedrooms. if all the suites are as nice as the 3 in which we stayed then you can't go wrong!

excellent place to stay . very close to town. apartment very clean and plenty of space.Ample car parking, its a busy road beside the Glenlochy, but no noise in the apartment so had a good night sleep. will stay again.

I found Flat 1A was a lovely, comfortable, well equipped apartment which I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.It is easy to find and convenient.The only thing missing in my opinion was a hairdryer.

Glenlochy apartments were tremendous value clean, well decorated and presented with all essentials for a comfortable stay.contact was possible at all times with the landlord and was pleasant and willing to help with any request. would recommend again

Though a little tricky to find the building, once you're inside the apartment it is a very relaxing and comfortable environment. The road nearby is barely noticeable so you'll sleep easy, there's television with good reception for a Highland locale and a great view of the mountains beyond, both from inside and out.Good shower/bathroom with heated towel rail, a clean and tidy kitchen area with all the facilities you're likely to need (with complimentary tea/coffee) and a Morrisons just down the road to stock up on supplies.Good location for access to main roads, bus interchange and train station/Jacobite railway, with Fort William shops maybe a 10 minute walk away (if that). Also worth visiting the local Highland Museum (paid admittance) and the local distillery. Great stay in a great location with good access to Ballachulish and Glencoe in the South and the rest of the Highlands in the North. Highly recommended.

Very nice apartment (family type with 3 beds + 1 sofa) fully equipped with kitchen and utensils etc.For the price we paid, there are no complains! Excellent and recommended.

If your travelling with children and need space and flexibility Glenlochy is a great option for you. We were travelling as two families with young children and used the sizeable 1A apt as our `hub' where there was enough space for both families to dine and relax together. This combined well with one of the smaller apts for our requirements. My suggestion - phone the owners tell them what you need and they'll suggest an appropriate solution. Very helpfull and we would use the apartments again and will recommend to friends.

You never know what to expect when you arrive at a holiday accommodation we were pleasantly rewarded with a cosy apartment which had a clean kitchen,bedroom & bathroom. the apartment is ideally situated for the centre of Fort William as has ample off road parking we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Just stayed the one night as planned. The apartment was fine.

An ideal place to stay to explore Fort William and Ben Nevis - that's just a walk up the road, as is the town centre.

We found glenlochy as the best place to stay in Fort William.. Not only it's near to main attractions like Mallaig, Ben Nevis etc but the facilities were really remarkable. It was a home-like experience, we had in glenlochy. Every necessity that one can even imagine was available not only in the bedroom but in kitchen from kitchen machines to crockery and even crockery to cook food... I'll always consider glenlochy apartment for next stay and will recommed it to others aswell
