COVID-19

At Glenlochy Apartments we have a duty of care to our guests and staff in ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times but especially during these difficult times and beyond. Health and safety has our complete attention.  We are following government guidance and hospitality cleaning protocols very carefully.  Before your arrival, your room will have been fully cleaned and sanitised, ventilated and the floors, all surfaces and high touch areas will have been disinfected with products containing EN14776 proven to help eliminate the spread of Coronavirus. Our staff have been provided with the recommended PPE to avoid risk.We have also removed some unnecessary soft furnishings and items in the rooms, hopefully without removing the comfort. There will be one pillow for each guest on the beds, however, should you require a second pillow, spares are stored in the daybed drawer.Hand sanitiser is provided just inside the entrance of each apartment and antibacterial and antiviral cleaning products are provided under the kitchen sink. For reservations longer than 2 nights, you will be provided with extra towels and toilet rolls from arrival.Staff will not enter your apartment during your visit unless it is necessary.

How can you help us?

If you or any of your travel party are showing any signs of Coronavirus, please do not travel and contact us immediately so that we can hopefully rearrange your visit.   It is recommended however that you take out holiday insurance in the event of a last minute cancellation.

In the event that a guest develops symptoms whilst staying at Glenlochy Apartments, they should immediately contact us and book a test through NHS Inform, or if they cannot get online, by phoning 0800 028 2816.  If guests who need to isolate can travel home safely, avoiding the use of public transport, they should do so.  In the event that the guests need to stay in Glenlochy Apartments for the isolation period, if there is availability, the guest would incur the costs of further rental of the apartment.

Our cleaning regime will be taking quite a bit longer now, so we are asking for some assistance on your departure...

As is recommended by the Association of Self Caterers in Scotland, we request that you please remove the bed linen (pillow slips, sheets and duvet covers) and place them in the laundry basket with the used towels. This allows time for virus particles to fall to the ground before any staff enter the room.

As we have no dishwasher, we ask that all used dishes are washed properly in hot, soapy water. And for your own peace of mind, you may prefer to wash them yourself before use too.

Please also empty your rubbish bin, tie the bag and place in the large black bins around the back of the blue building.

We would greatly appreciate your help with this for the safety of staff coming in after you.Thank you 😊

Check-out is at 10.30am latest and as you will realise, we require as much time as possible to prepare for the next guest. If you depart the apartment early, please can you let us know with a text to +44 (0) 7734 318796.

Thank you.Have a fantastic time in Glenlochy Apartments.

Stay safe!
